CATTLE Receipts were lllwral this
morning, but In spite of that fact the de
mand nt very active and the trade In
very satisfactory condition. Prices on
beef steers were lOWISc higher so far aa
the best gradra of tattle were concerned.
In other words, buyer put back what
they took off Monday, making the mar
ket not much different from what It wna
last week. The quality of the offerlnga
was not very good, so that tho sale do
not show up very high on paper.
Cow and heifer were active at price
that were strong to as much as 10c
higher.
Feeders were in good demand and a
little stronger than Monday.
Everything was sold at an early hour
In the morning.
