The Jason will leavi next, week for

mander Courtney, the transportation oC

Stephen T. Rang, one ef the earliest
pioneers of Nebraska, died at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. Richard B. Hall,
S4 Farnam street, Friday afternoon at
I 15 o'clock. -
Mr. Bangs was born In England Octo
ber 11, 1831, nd came to America when
a boy of 17. He spent a few year In
the eastern part of the United States,
but gradually travelled westward until
he came to Nebraska, locating at Belle-
