Wednesday evening, la the event of social
Interest for the week.
Many parties are planned for this affair
and all have responded rribst generously
to the committee s rail for aid .In mak
ing the evening a howling success.
All chanties are favoring alike In the
proceeds, and each ticket purchaser Is
allowed the privilege of writing the name
of the charity he wishes remembered on
- the back of tils ticket This Is quite a
new way of placing thlrgs as they are
wished to be and the plan seems to be
generally applauded.
The demand for boxes Is so great, ac
cording to the men on the box committee,
that many more could very easily be dis
posed off were It possible to secure them.

Cornell Glee Club Concert
The YuleUde tdways brings to Omaha
a glee club concert of high merit and
special Interest Last year It was the
University of Michigan club and this
year we are to be again favored with
, th Cornell 1'nlverslty Musical club,
which will sing Monday evening, Decem
ber n, at the American theater.
This blub aang in Omaha four years
ago, lust at this time, and while here,
all the members agreed that they had
some time; so the committee In charge
of arrangements fur this performance Is
nut leaving a stone unturned to come up
to former records. The following women
have consented to act as patronesses for
this event;

Marian Macrae and Mr Clifford Wolfe,
who will be married the first week In

Omaha University Banquet.
The annual banquet to the University
of Omaha foot ball team waa held Satur
day evening at Redlck hall. The banquet
waa given by the co-eds of the school
and waa a triumph of their culinary skill.
In all, eight courses were served, all the
food being prepared tir the domestlo
science department of the university,'
The large hall In Redlck halt, where
the banquet waa aerved, was artistically T?j
decorated with school pennants, other j.r-t 7 j
college colors draped about the walls rVlLtlCLitl
gave the hall an unusually attractive ap
pearance.
The tables were In the form of a hollow
quire and were tastefully decorated In I '
red and white roses. Miniature foot ball I

Jorgensen, captain of the team, gave a
short and enthusiastic talk on the "Team
of 1911" He was followed by Prof. Vera
Fink, who spoke on' "Foot Ball In the

Coaching" was the subject of a talk given
