' Chicken Exhibition
This afternoon will be children's day
at the Kenson Chicken show, which la
row in progress at 67S8 Mlin street of
that village The youngsters will be ad
mitted free.
Th exhibition is made up of over 40o
fowls of various sorts and is attracting
much attention. In addition there are
coops and accessories to the business, in
cluding special feeds, etc.
The show is being conducted under
the rules of the American Poultry asso
ciation, with fourteen classifications of
poultry displays and a dozen premiums
for eggs of various daises and breeds.
Special prizes, four in number, are of
fered by the American Barred Plymouth
Rock club, Strafford. Chester county,
Pennsylvania, through its secretary,
Henry D. Rllcry, for the best colored ond
shaped specimens of both male arid
female Barred Plymouth Rocks. The
Rhode Island lied Club of America will
Kive eight ribbons, four to the single
comb and four to the rose comb variety,
for tlio best appealing "reds." Seven
other special awards, Including a loving
cup donated by the Fred Urodegaard
company, will be made.

The manufacturers of Nebraska expect
, t4 make up a lot of goods to be donated
for the relief of suffering In Europe ai

gium. When Governor Morehead's Proc
lamation railing on citizens, counties and
organizations to contribute liberally to a
relief fund for Belgian and other Eu
ropean sufferers the manufacturers as
