For nineteen months the congregation
of Plymouth Congregational church has
gratefully enjoyed the hospitable shelter
of '.he Vnlverslty of Omaha buildings.
The new edifice of Plymouth church, to
replace the one destroyed by the tornado,
will be used for the first time tomorrow.
The ncv location Is at Eighteenth and
L'mmrt streets.
The special musical numbers at the
. First Methodist church Sunday will con
feist of an anthem, "Unfold, Ye Portals,"
by Gounod. A soprano solo, "The Cross,"
by Harriet Ware, sung by Miss Hazel
Stiver. In the evening the choir will
.sing two numbers, "Out of the Depths,"
by Marston, and a hymn unaccompanied,
'Come Ye Disconsolate," by Samuel
Vobbe. James Edward Carnal, director
of the music. Miss Nora Neal, organist.
On Wednesday evening, December i,
a concert will be given by the First
Methodist church chorus choir of fifty
voices assisted by Frank Mach, first
violinist, in the church auditorium, Twen
tieth and Davcnpert strets.
'Ex-Governor Malcolm R. Patterson of
Tennessee, and Dr. A. C. Bane of Ohio,
will speak at the Auditorium Sunday at
3 o'clock. Dr. Bane's theme, "The War
Against Liquor, a Battle for Humanity."
Governor Patterson's theme, "Why I

The Sunday afternoon vesper service at
4:30 will includa a storeopticon lecture,
presenting Young Women's Christian as
sociation work In India. Some very good
slides have been prepared for this, and
as the association work. In India la the
best organised of the foreign depart
ment, It will give an excellent Idea of
what has been dons In that country. The
solos wlil be glvsn by Miss Talu, who has
recently come to Omaha from the New
England Conservatory of Music. Miss
Brenlser will be hostass at the social
hour which follows the regultr service.
The week, Nov. 9-14, Is the world's
week of prayer, set by the world's com
mittee of the Young women's Christian
association, when special attention Is
paid to work all over the world. An
extra effort win be made by the local
