A new department, which will be designated as the Welfare Section, has been created, with Mrs. Harvey E. Newbranch as the leader. This section will take the place of the Consumers' league depart ment and educational department, and will take up all other matters coming up under Its province. The other departments of the associa tion are the social settlement section. Miss Anna Fry, leader; the dramatic sec tion, of which Mra J. M. 'Bateman ls the leader; music.
