weak at yesterday's overage. Hellers
were asking stronger price and as sup
plies were very moderate values strength
ened up until practically everything sold
at about steady prices, with an occa
sional load quoted selling a little
higher. Packer tradn was not active at
any lime, but the movement was con
tinuous and a clearance was made In
good season.
On the while prlcea can be quoted as
fully steady. (Shipping demund wss
light, but such hogs a the shippers
bought were easily steady with Thurs
day. Hood hogs of all weights a ere in
iKSt demand, hut everything except a
few hum lies of rough heavy sow sold
readily enough. The supply of light
lights and pigs was much smaller thun
the first of th week, consequently any
thing good In this line was in eager re
quest, ono bunch of very light stuff sell
ing at the top.
