REAL ESTATE FOR EXCHANGE
TWO SPLENDID
FRUIT BEARING ORCHARDS.
I own two 40-acre fruit orchards right
on tha edge of Medford, Oregon; one 40
with trees nearly five years old and 40
with tree about four year old; they are
all In fine condition and should come into
bearing next year.
These orchards are made up very
largely of Bartlett Pears and Newton
Pippin Apples, and are in a splendid po
sition, both for horticultural develop
ment, and' so far as the value of the
property 1 concerned, as the orchards
are right on the edge of Medford; a a
matter of fact, the outer line of the city
limits of Medford is a street which runs
along tha edge of the property. .
The state highway, cement paved, run
ning from Seattle, Wash., to San Diego,
Cal., passes through one portion of the
first 40, separating four or five acres;
property . In back of us, with more ma
tured trees, has brought as high as $l,0uQ
an acre; one 16-acre orchard produced
$19,000 In returns last year.
This I considered one of the finest sec
tion In all Oregon for fruit growing, but
It is too far away for me to handle.
Will sell or trade for good Minnesota,
Iowa or Wisconsin farm.

Liberal export sale of wheat wore an

amounted to eOO.OnO bushela. Heavy buy

In sympathy with LWerpool, the coura
of price for a while wa rather tr.
teady. Corn advanced with wheat after a mod
erate early decline, due to the bearish
showing of the government crop report.
Wet westher counted against the hear

able Increase had taken place in th us
of glucose as a substitute for sugar.
Strength in osts came chiefly from big
sale to shippers. It waa said that 600.000
bushels were taken for export.
Although provisions at the outset were
weak with hogs, the msrket later scored
the best advance In some time. Shorts,
who were the chief buyer, were influ
enced by the strength of grain snd by
the backwardness of sneculattv offer.
