The motor picnic Is the favorite recre ation this summer In Omaha, and rarely has the country been so beautiful aa this year. Last year at thto time there was bo much dust owing to the lack of rain that motor picnics were moro or leas abandoned until fall, so the enthusiasts arc making; up for tost time. Klrkwood, the attractive, country home of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Klrkendall, and Roremere lodge, the country homo of Dr. and Mrs. C C, Allison, which has been leased this summer by Mr. and Mrs. C M. Mfc and Mrs. John Potter Webster, who are on their wedding trip abroad, have been spending; several weeks in London.
