InK were very moderate for a Tuesday,
only 12S cars bi-lni; reported In. Taklni
the two uaj's this week together only

This Is the smallest for any similar
period of weeks back and smaller than a
year sso by 1.400 head,
. The first cattle In the yards to sell were
butcher stock. Good urylot cows and
heifer were In fair demand and generally
commanded prices that were about
steady. On the other hand Brass tows
were discriminated against and the feel
ing on that kind was weak to lower.
Bulls were about steady, while veal calves
were 25c lower lor the two days than last
week.
There were not enough etnekers or fetd
rs In sLsht to really make a market,
but what there were commanded steady
prices.
Beet steers were slow and largely 10a
lower. Buyers, however, apparently
wanted the cattle at the decline and In
the end practically everything was cleaned
up.
