Special Train for Elks Many reser vations have been mado for the Union Pacific- special to the Elks grand lodge meeting at Denver on July 13. and it is said that tho special train from Omaha has been practically assured. The spe cial will leave Omaha with the Elks delegation of Omaha and tmrmundlng lodges on Sunday afternoon, July 12. late in the afternoon, arriving In Den ver early the following morning lor the opening of the grand lodge. DOG CATCHER'S ARM IS SWOLLEN FROM DOG BITE James Kindness, dog catcher, appeared at the surgeon's offtco In police head quarters and asked that his right arm bo attended to. He was bltton Saturday by a dog at Twenty-fourth and Cuming streets. His arm has swollen up to three times the normal slie, and tho police sur geons recommended that ho be sent to a hospital for treatment It could not bo determined whether It was merely a caiie of neglected blood poisoning or something more serious. Glacier Park Most Popular This Year Glacier National park, which is being extensively discussed among those who will go west this summer, promises to be one of the most popular of the sum mering places. THOMAS M'CAGUE HELD TUESDAY Many friends of Rev. Thomas Mc Cague, who died Sunday, attended the funeral services at tho Central United Presbyterian church this afternoon. Many more who were unable to attend the serv ice went to tho church between t and 3 o'clock, while the body lay in state, nnd viewed the features of the veteran min ister and missionary .for the last time. Ever since 1867 tho deceased had lived In Omaha, He had reared a large family of sons and duughtcrs, who are now well known and highly respected here. Tho four sons, John U. Will L. Thomas II. and Brower E. McCague, a son-in-law, Itev. Albert Gordon of Lincoln and a grandson, John I McCague, Jr., were the active pallbearers. Rev. Hugh B. Speor. pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. A. C. Douglas of the First United church, conducted the services at the church and grave. Hon orary pallbearers were the elders of the church Wllllnm Balrd, George G. Wal lace, G. . Benawa, George F. Gtlmore, Dr. H. P. Hamilton, George W. Welch, A. W. Bowman and J. E. Dodds.
