She sad her husband came to Omaha In 1MB and remained here continuous!? un til 1890, when the family moved to Bt Louis. During her residence In Omaha, Mrs. Clark was active In church and charity work. She was one of the prominent members of the First Congregational Church and was always one of Its most liberal supporters. She was a liberal and constant contributor to tho Old Peoples' Home, the Yoilng Woman's Christian association and the City Mission, nearly always serving on the boards. Tnarnt Snndny Hchool Clans, In her Sunday school work, for years Mrs. Clark taught a class of young men and with them she was as much of a mother as a teacher. They were always welcome In her home and to her they con fided their joys and their sorrows. Three end four times each year during her resi dence sho hod the young men of her class es to her home for dinner, besides haV lne numerous evening functions for them. She delighted in making It pleasant for young men away from home and' while much of her time was taken up with the various lines of work in which she en sated, she waa never too busy to greet and welcome boys and young men who ' many times called upon her for advice. Class Day Exercises at Windsor School Bring Out a Crowd Jany parents, relatives and friends of ne 400 pupils of Windsor school gathered at tho grounds, Trllrty-fourth and Martha streets, to watch the youngsters In their annual field day frolic. Fancy drills, games and folk dances comprised tho pre gram, -which was under the direction of Mlsa Harriet S. Eddy, tho principal, and the seventeen teachers of the school. May polo dances by tho Beventh and Eighth grade glrs, whosfi teachers are Miss Ada Rlddlcsbarger and Miss Ma tilda Evans, were pretty numbers. Miss Hermlne Blessing, tho kindergarten di rector, presented an amusing game by her llttls tots, known a the "Flower Garden." The prosiam was a long one, starting at 1.J0 o'clock aand continuing tho greater part of the afternoon, A wand drill by the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth graders opened the entertainment. Other numbers were the "Bun Myth," by Miss Aramlnta Cooley's First grade girls; "Mountain Polka," by Mlts Mar guerite Chapln's Second and Third grad ers, and other dances, games and drills by the classes of Mrs. Afton Howell, Miss May Cat h roe. Miss Cordelia Johnson, Miss Mary Elgin, Miss Emella Pearson, Mlsa Hedvlg Borenson, Miss Eleanor Kevin and Miss Jessie B, Flynt. Parts of the program were given by classes of bdy only, Including a walk ing relay race by the little Second grade lads and a drill by the First grade boys. Two gray wolf cubs were dug out of a hole near Carter lake by Joe Strasson a few day ago. Mr Strasson, at least, says they are gray wolve. It Is difficult for one not a naturalist to say whether they some and jather incline toward maklnr (are coyote cubs or gray wolf cubs.
