bers are selling at 15 cents each. Cuban
pineapples are selling at 15 to 20 cents
apiece. Oranges can be had in almost any
alzo and variety from 12 to 30 cents per
dozen. ,
Sugar Is now selling at twenty-three
pounds tor a dollor. Cornmeal Is adver
tised at 19 cents for ten pounds ot ths
best white or yellow mcul. Best rolled or
breakfast oats can be had in bulk 8
pounds for 25 cents.
Hand picked navy beans can be had
at six pounds for 25 cents. Corn flakes
ran be Jiad at 5 cents a package and
yeast foam at 3 cents a package Six
cans ot oil or mustary sardines are of
feted for u quarter.
All meats still hold up to a high price,
according to Al King, manager ot Hay
don's meat and grocery department. Pack
ers plead shortage ot ineat supply, saying
that the run of cattle, hogs und sheep In
the stock yards Is small.
