Although setbacks In the price of wheat were at no time severe, the bear had the advantage throughout. Nearly with out exception, crop advices proved op timistic. By somo experts, the snowfall In the spring wheat belt was declared a notable benefit as virtually insuring a flno start for the season whereas a dry weather handicap was previously the outlook. Oood resting orders to purchase on any radical break gave wheat at times an appearance of being stubborn. The main basis for support was a statement that high winds had blown wheat out of light aolls In a limited area of western Kansas. There was news also that Ger many had become an eager buyer or cargoes from Australia, and that world a nhlpmonts for tho week promised to lx small. Free and lower priced offers of new Argentine corn to arrive kept the corn market on tho .downgrade.
