approval upon the "go-to-church" inovo
for next Sunday. Not that the mayor
lias oven intimated there la need of such

to be In tune with tho progress of events.

tho First Presbyterian church, have an
nounced special services for tho occasion.
Mayor Hoctor yesterday issued a proc
lamation calling on the people to attend
church next Sunday. Follows tho text

Greeting The Idea seems to prevail

third commandment by attending re
ligious services on the Sabbath day and
hear the word of God, and, as there Is

this law by going to church on Sunday,
and. our city being one to lead, rather

Wednesday evening at the residence. of.
SMr.'and Mrs. George Fogle, 131 Forty
F first street, with the. assistance of Rev.
H. K. P. Cornish of Ralston and West
Side Methodist Episcopal churches, 'an
Interdenominational Sunday school was
organized. This Sunday school will have
Its 'first service at the hall on Fory-flrst
and Q streets on April & at 10;30 o'clock
All Proestant people" of West Bide and
vicinity not attending elsewhere are' In
vited to attend this Sunday school. The
following officers were elected; A. L.
Henry, superintendent; C. Woods, assist
ant 'superintendent; G. W. Marble, sec
retary; Miss Mary Marshall, librarian;
Mrs. W. C Chance, treasurer, and Miss
Hazel Fogle, pianist.
At the "same time and place a Ladles'
, Aid society was organized with the fol
lowing officers; President, Mrs. George
Marble; vice president, Mrs. Marshall;
secretary, Mrs. Chance; treasurer, Mrs.
George Fogle.
This society will hold its first meeting
next Tuesday afternoon at the home ot
Mrs.- Fogle.
Mrs. J. P. Ilndelaou Dies.
Mrs. James P. Hudelson died Friday
morning at her late residence, 1213 North
Twenty-fourth street. Mrs. HudeUcn
was "81 years of age and was a resident
ot South Omaha for eighteen years. Mm.
Hudelson is the mother of Mrs. L. F,
Ktter, write ot L. F. "Otter, superintendent
ot mail In South Omaha. Funeral serv
ices will be held from the residence Sun
day afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. J. W.

Tho Ancient Order of Hibernians will
meet this morning at the St. Mary's
