OMAHA USES THREE PITCHERS

Home Plate.
Musscr mussed up Omaha's chances of
taking one same of the serlca from Frank
Isbcll's Boosters when he pitched a
thrce-hlt game yesterday, holding the
Rourkes to one lone count while Dos
Moines registered eight runs, making a
clean -sweep ot the three games.
Musser did not pitch such a wonderful
game as one would judge by a casual
glance at the base hit column. The new
Isbell hurler passed nine Rourko batters
and "beaned" three of them, but even
with this handicap the Omaha bunch
could get but one man over.
When Omaha would get men on bases,
as they did In every inning, they could
not get the necessary hit to slip some
counters over. In tho seventh frame the
Rourkcs gpt the bases full, but a neat
double play put the scoring machine on
the blink.
Good fielding on Omaha's part kept
tho score down as low as it was. In the
second Inning a double play shut off a
ritn, and in the third "Bunk" Congalton
made pretty peg to the plate after
catching Jones' high fly and threw Breen
out as 'he was sliding into the rubber.
Kneh Score in First.
The game started out with each team
making a run in the opening round. With
Dnc down Hahn poled a double to center.
Hunter sent one back of first and Glavc
nlch covered tho bag, but Congalton held
the., ball long enough to allow Breen to
score from second.
Omaha got one when Coyle walked
and took second when Musser threw wild
to first to catch him napping. Kane fol
lowed with a double and Coyle registered.
The Boosters took the lead in the third.
Hahn singled afjer ono was gone. Breen
and Hunter were walked, filling tiie
bases. Applegate was sent in to relieve
Glavcnlch and walked Leonard, forcing
Hahn home. Jones then retired the side
by batting into a double.
Breen web hit by a pitched ball in the
fifth and took second on Hunter's sacri
fice. Leonard singled, scoring Breen.
Three for Roosters.
Musser opened the sixth with a single
to right. Hahn duplicated, Musser going
to second. Breen sacrificed, but, was
safe on Schtpke's error. With the bases
choked, Hunter picked out a nice one
ana slammed it down the third base line
for twin bags, whits Musser, Hahn and
Breen filed over the plate in the order
earned.
Shaw opened the seventh with a stroll.
'Andreas singled and Shaw went homo
,when Congalton let the boll go between
lils legs, Andreas halting at third. Hahn
made his third single and Andreas scored
the la&t run of tho game. Bcore:
