Real Estate Concern
Lays Mains Cheaper
Than Water Board
Water pipe laid at 93 cents a foot looks
better to Oeorge & Co. for their ex
tensions n the new districts at Dundee
than ll.M per foot, which the Water
board proposes to charge the real estate
people since the new water district bill
has gone Into effect The consequence Is
the real estate people have been hauling
pipe, even at night In order to get as
much laid as possible In the newly
platted ground in Dundee before that
suburb comes under the water district
bill, after which pipe bought from the
board would cost $1.60.
