BAND and orchestra, concerts aro tho favored ontortalnmont for the
warm evenings. The first Sunday night concert at tho Field olub
was hold this week and was attended by about 200 friends
and members of the club. Many had supper at tho club preceding.
tne concert ana many others motored to tho olub during tho evening. Tho
orchestra waB on the north side of the dancing pavllllon and thq guests
were seated on the verandas and chairs woro placed on the lawn. Many
people remained In their motors near by and enjoyed the program of music.
There will bo Military band concerts ono evonlng each week at Fort
Omaha, storting some time In July, when guosto can motor to tho post and
enjoy a short program of band mtialc. Tho officers and ladles of the post
will be at home on that evonlng to their friends.
Many parties haVe beon given at Krug park to hear the Italian band
these usually follow Informal dinners at the Country club. Thoro will be
special music at the Country, club this evening In honor of the visiting golf
players.

A pretty wedding took place last even

and Harney streets, when Mlsa Ann Gold

Tho hall was prettily decorated in
wreathe and flowers and was sweetly
acented with the fragrance of apple blos
soms. The wedding ceremony took place at
7 o'clock.
A beautiful canopy of red velvet, lighted
by electrlo lights, was placed in the, fore
ground of the hall, held in place by four

girls. Mendelssohn's wedding march was
played,
Mr. Chasson was escorted to' the altar
by his father and mother and followed
by the bridesmaids and groomsmen, A
simple ceremony was then performed and
the bridesmaids returned to the end of
th hall and Miss Qoldstone wns escorted
to the altar by her parents, followed by
the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Rabbi
Qrodlnsky performed the ceremony.
Master Arthur Slever of Sioux City
carried : the ring In a basket of lilies of
the valley, assisted by Misses Molllo
Slever. Mollle Grossman, Mollle Qoldstone
and Eva JTnnberg.
Congratulations were extended to the
bride and groom who were seated back
of the canopy. A grand' march was then
played and the relatives, and guests
formed in line' and proceeded to the din
ing room where supper was served. Fol
lowing, all returned to the hall where
dancing was enjoyed.
The bride wore a white charmeuser gown
trimmed in Irish tace and carried lilies
of the valley and white roses, orange
blossoms were used to hold her veil in
place.
Miss Peva Goldstone was maid of honor.

INSANE WOMAN, ESCAPES
IN HER NIGHT CLOTHE?
Mrs. Bertha Mason,' EO years, old, who
has been mentally unbalanced and under
restraint for some time, escaped in hor
night clothes from the residence of
6am McLann, Fort Crook boulevard,
Sunday night and has not yet been
found. A posse headed by Sheriff. Grant
Chase has since been searching tot the
unfortunate woman and. it is thought
that she may have drowned in the rivor.
