Tho work of completing the machinery of tho Commercial club and supplying the energy that will keep thn wheels go ing was completed at tho noon meeting of tho executive committee yesterday. iTho personnel of the committees was then announced. 1 This year the usual courso has not been followed. To make up the standing committees by simply taking the mem bership rolls and picking out with more or less discrimination the requisite num ber of tinmen has been an easy task. The committees this year havo not been made up that way. President Metcatf and thn members of thn executive committee aro all workers, and they wanted to get the same class of men on nil of the other committees. Members wero selected for each of the committees with appreciation ot their special fitness for the duties that would bo assigned them, and then the men selected wore consulted. If any of them showed good reasons why he Could not glvo tho work the at tention It required they was not placed on tho committee. All of the members se lected wero told that there wore no honorary positions, and that each man was expected to do something or get out of tho way of those who wanted to get busy.
