the statement that the Burbank potato
is adding seventeen million dollars a year
to the farm incomes of America alone.
Although the Burbank potato was one
of his first creations, Mr. Burbank has
continued his potato experiments yearly,
sincere in the hope and belief that he may
yet give to the world a potato as much
superior to the Burbank as the Burbank
was to its small round predecessors.
