Reverend Irl R. Hicks, the Famous St. Louis Weather Prophet, Predicts SN APRIL TORNADO i Reverend Hicks Predicted the Terrible Cyclone Which Visited This City Last Sunday, in the Following Language: " THE REGULAR STORM PERIOD involves the 17th to the 23rd of March. The center of Earlh' equinox falls on the 22nd, within two days of the center of the Venus equinox of the 24th. The moon will be n opposition wi h Earth and Sun, at an eclipse node, on the 22nd, qnd on the celestial equator and in perigee on the 21st. We will venture to put down Tuesday to Sunday, the 18th to thi 23rd, as constituting a period of great and "dangerous disturbances." (See Hick's Almanac for 1913, Page 39.) Reverend Hicks Makes the Following Predic tion for April 5th, 6th and 7th: "A REACTIONARY STORM PERIOD, overhung by the mer cury brace, center on the 5th, 6th and 7th of April. Vicious electrical and hail storms will be very natural on and touching ihe 5th and 6th, with high temperature, humid atmosphere and greatly depressed barometer, dangerous TORNADIC ' storms should be apprehended." (See Hick's Almanac, Page 42.) It is an old saying that lightning never strikes twice in the same place, but experiences of St. Louis and Grinnell, Iowa prove this to be untrue in regard to cyclones. The first prediction came true, as we all know too well, the second may not, and we sincerely hope it will not THE IMPORTANT QUESTION IS: Can you afford to take another chance and continue to carry your own Tornado Insurance when our Companies with assets aggregating over ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS are willing to protect you for the ridiculously low rate of $7.50 per thousand for a term of five years.
