Beautiful in Outward
Appearance.
. It is a very attractive build
ing to look at and draws much
attention from passersby. Per
haps the beauty of the face
brick adds more than anything
else to its sightliness. The face
brick was - furnished bv - the
Hydraulic-Press Brick com

nished the face brick for some
of Omaha's largest and best

ENTIRE THIRD FLOOR OF THE NEW STATE BANK BUILDING.
The. patient, skillful hand of artisan and artlBt has
wrought worthily In the tranaforratitlon of an ontlro
floor of this enormous modorn, fireproof building Into
ft buslnees place of beauty and convenience.
Surprises and gratification await tho eye of those
who will honor us with a call. ,
Not a mere coal office; not a series of uninterest
ing rooms and walls; not a boresome array of things
to sell.
. Tho new Sundorland Offices occupy the whole area
of tho building (6,000 square feet) and It is ono big
open space with marble walnscoating, tile floors, beau
tiful fixtures, exquisite wall decorations, low English
, garden walls of brick, artistic fireplaces built in, and
palms, ferns, andirons, etc.
We will be glad when you call-and so will you.
SUNDERLAND BROTHERS CO,
N. E. Corner 17th and Harnoy Streets
Opposite East Entrance to Court House
State Bank on Ground Floor,
The Omaha State Bank, foi
which this building was named,
will be located on' the ground
floor, occupying the corner of
the building, 17th and Harney
Streets. "While all the trim
mings have not yet been put
on, most of the beautiful fix
tures for the bank are already
in place and business is being
transacted. However, the of
ficers of the bank announce
that the formal opening will
not take place until Saturday,
November 16.
There is room in Omaha for
a state bank and the success ot
this new institution seems to bo
assured. Housed in a new, big
building bearing its name and
centrally located, with capable
men at its head, there is every
indication that Omaha will bo
benefited by another successful
bank.
Sunderlands Occupy Entire
Floor.
The Sunderland Brothers
Company celebrate their 30th
year of business success in
Omaha by moving from their
did location into this new
building and will occupy tho
entire third floor, an area of
i
about 6,000 square feet. Tho
growing business of the 'com
pany made greater office room
necessary and a good oppor-1
tunity to move presented itself
'when this big, modorn struc
ture was erected almost direct
ly Reside the old location.
With sunlight pouring in at
the many windows on both
sides of the building, the new
offices df the Sunderlands are
a striking contrast to the old
basement location and will bo
a source of delight for both the
occupants and patrons. Many
expressions of congratulations
have reached tho management
on this progressive business
move.
