3,ttX,0tO bushels, half oi allien wheat Is
already In Chicago and tho other halt
loading or on the lake. There, whs pnic
tlcally no cash wheat demand from any
quarter yesterday. The fine weather
and large northwest receipts continue to
help sellers on all swell". Good pit ob
serve thought there was reselling by
houses which bought wheat on the
Wednesday break and rally. There Is
still a little caution on the selling sldo
because of the possibility of disturbing
political news In connection with the
close of the Balkan war. But for this
element of uncertainty conditions aug.
gest the selling side on all temporary
rallies. What strength there Is at Llvei
pool la entirely due to fear of political
complications In Kurope. Cash wheat
was Htfio higher.
With some fresh Incentive In the corn
trade today, there will be no doubt a
narrow market while waiting for tho of.
flclal crop figures. In a general wuy the
trade expects tho report to show an over
age df about thirty bushels of corn per
acre, Indicating a total of over 3.200,000,000
bushels. The supply of now corn Is so
Inrgo that figures on farm reserves will
havo little Influence. In the Thursday
market there wa decided selling pros
sure In the May option and a feeling of
caution In tho December, with a fair sup
ply of buying orders for the early month
around 00c. The cash corn premium sug
gests good support for the options. Bear
ish feeling exists mostly In the May
corn. Cash corn lo higher to lc lower.
Tho gossip on oats Is extremely bearish.
One trader, however, who watches the
market closely says there Is a large hold
ing of December oata against cash sales
to tho east and abroad. Cash outs un
changed. Clooarnces of wheat and flour wero SCO,

Prior to tho tasuaiKO of the agricul

The loading industrials a)no suffered
from persistent selling. United States
Steel docllnlug over U4 points, with a
