new motor car, which she was trying to
drive. After nearly going over an em
bankment, the young' man decided to run
the car for her. .
He then visited the St. Joseph young
woman who had been so winsome on the
Steamer. He had decided to spend sev
eral days there. When he arrived the
young woman met hjm and carried a
imall pet dog under her arm. . In the
afternoou they motored, but the dog
seemed to take all her attention, and
oven the conversation seemed to revolve
about the dog.
He decided to cut his vacation short
end returned home by the next train.

afternoon in honor of her guest, Miss

Auction Bridge Tournament
Mrs. Jerome Mages, who is one of the
most original and charmius, hostesses of
Omaha, will be the first to give an auc
tion bridge tournament her. -
Next Tuesday Mrs. Mages will enter

auction bridge clubs, the eUrht members
