first battle, . which lasted eleven innings,
by a 6 to 5 score,, and" taking the second
laffair, by a score of 6 to 1. The second

Play each day will "start at 9:30 o'clock
In the morning and cont'nue throughout
the day. All preliminary and first round
singles and doubles are expected to be
finifhed by Tuesday afternoon. Finals
will come Friday and the challenge round
singles, the feature event of the tourney,
win start promptly at 2:30 o'clock Satur
