DOUBLE ST AITS IN THE FIFTH ; Visitors Tie the Score la the Fourth and After the Next Roand Hare Thins Their Own Way. Denver bunched Its hits off Rhodes In the fifth Inning In yesterday'! game and with the asistance of a walk and an er ror, chalked up -four runs, overcoming the two run lead by the Rourkes and won the last game o fthe series, 8 to 4. Until the fifth Inning everybody point ed to Omaha making It all four games of the series, but Dusty Rhodes worked him self into a hois ou Leorard and then walked Kenworthy. Cassidy slammed a hard one to Klehoff, who failed to get It Beall then slammed cut what ought to have been a single, but Thompson let the ball get away from him and three men crossed the plate. With but one man down, Manager Ar bogast gave Dusty the high, sign to move from the mound while Jack Ryan went in to stop the noise. A tingle off him got another run In. After this Ryan was Invincible until the ninth when he hit Kenworthy with the ball and BeaU smashed the pill over the center field boards. The Rourkes were a little ripe yester day and did not play up to snuff. Their playing was listless. However, at the bat they managed to get Leonard for the first four innings, but after that the young southpaw settled down and pitch ed elegant balL Starts Off Well. Omaha started off to win In the first iniig. Justice singled and went to second on Coyle's singled. A wild pitch advanc ed both a peg. Kane slammed out a single to center, scoring both men. Denver came back and tied in the fourtlu Cassidy hammered out a triple and scored on Beau's sacrifice fly. Quli liu lauded safe on Justice's error and scored on Block's three-bagger. The Rourkes again took a two run lead in thlr half of the fourth. Bcanlon reached first on French's error. Justice singled, Bcanlon going to second. A new man advanced on a wild pitch and a two bagger by Thompson scored them. Denver hopped in the lead in the next inning. With one down, Leonard doubled to center. Kenworthy walked. Cassidy sent one too hard for Nlehoff to handle. Beall slammed a hit to center and Thomp son made a botch of stopping it while Leonard, Kenworthy tnd Cassidy raced across the pon. Block singled scoring Beall. In the ninth Kenworthy was hit with the ball. Beall sent the pill over the fence scoring Kenworthy and himself.
