rrnam and Sixteenth streets, Is better
known than Cuming street, which Is oc
cupied by many business houses that are
prominent among those outside of the
main retail section of the olty. Cuming
,has long been a thoroughfare on which
several of the smaller merchants have
'done a large business, and just now It Is
One of the most prosperous In Omaha.
For years these retail stores have been
satisfying all their customers practically
all the time. Many of the names seen on
the signs before the stores on this street
are known by very nearly every cltfsen in
Omaha.

up-to-date power machinery, enabling

a dealer In builders' hardware, one of the
largest In the city. He makes a specialty

of doing some of the best In Omaha, He

street. Through their endeavors much
progress has been made in the building
construction along this thoroughfare.
