game from Omaha yesterday, winning the
game 5 to t' "Red" White" kept his hits
widely scattered and had Omaha :on' his

The Katherine, a little eighteen-foot
craft owned, by Robert N. Burgess, won
the second Sunday afternoon yacht race
of the Rod and Gun club,, held at Carter
lake. The yacht course over the lake now
covers approximately three miles. No of

The tennis sharks are quietly planning
their activities for ' the summer, ; which
Include the city tennis tourney at the
Field club July 6 to 13 and the stato
tournament at Norfolk the following
week. July 14 to SO. v
Ralph Ralney and Harry Koch of the
Field club have charge of the entries
for the city series. The singles entry
list will close Friday afternoon at 6
o'clock and , the first and preliminary
round matches will start Saturday after
noon at 3. Doubles entries will clow
Monday and play will commence Tuesday
afternoon at 6 o'clock. On week . days,
except Saturday, all matches will . be
played off after S o'clock In the after-
noon. ' .
