representing 21) Modern Woodmen camp,
gathered yesterday In a atate meeting

era Woodmen of America head camp.
The meeting was held In the opera house
and was attended by more than MO en
thusiastic men.
Walter Livingston, venerable consul of
the Hastings camp, waa elected chair
man and Laurence Dally of Hastings and
F. M. Coleman of Fairfield, secretary.
Curias; the afternoon session ths Co
lumbus resolutions were read andd loud
cheers and quickly approved. The reso
lutions committee was tied up ell after
noon, but it was unanimously resolved
that hereafter the head officials of ths
order he compelled to live st tne head
quarters In Reck Island. III., a direct
slap at Head Consul Talbot.
At tonight's sefalon sn executive com
mittee was chosen to carry out ths fol
lowing program: "Ths head officers to
suspend the new rales until the member,
ship can pass on there by referendum
vets, or to call a special and newly
elected head camp to reconsider ths rale
matter, and In the brent et the refusal
of the head officials te ee either of
these things, then the committee Is In
structed to Institute legal proceedings to
