tion of the local property rights of the
late Cbauneey L. Wood, former demo
cratic candidate for governor, waa settle
by Jedge Lewie ia the county court bore.
Wood died a year ago In Seattle end bis
body was only recently brought here and
burled, and during all these months the
widow, Mr. Bessie F. Wood, and the two
sane. Bra and BuelU have been disput
ing in the courta over the property.
Wood left a will, one clause of which
save to Mrs. Wood the rental from the
Rasvd City properties.
The sons contested the assignment of

were made when Wtood was of unsound

report from the Hardwlck committee of
the house which has been Investigating
sugar trust affairs, now seems likely.

among sugar beet growers.
The republican members of the com
mittee, it is said, do not agree that such
a condition has been shown by the In
