Mrs. H. R Dawson and two small chil
dren have been given an idea what it

and a week ago his wife left the old
Minnesota home to Join him. fhe reached
Omaha Friday morning and left In the
afternoon, and had It not been for the

After buying her ticket, Mrs. Dawson
had enough money to pay her expense

came on and she was four day getting
down to Ht. Paul. Then It wae another
day before she could get a train out By

exhausted, and when the family arrived
in Omaha this morning there waa sot s
penny la the purse, and neither the
mother nor the children bad tasted food
for eighteen hours. Popl around ths
station learned of the condition of the
family and a collection brought in
enough money to buy a big basket of
foods and provide sufficient funds to buy
eatables during the balance of the Journey.
