Under the influence of a blc run buy ers were able to boar the market tn some extent, the trade opening very slow and dull. It was well along toward midday before very many cattle had changed hands. A compared with yesterday's earlier market the prices today were fully loo lower, and in some cases possioiy more than that. On the other hand, as compared with yesterday's very mean close, there wag not no much chanye noticeable. Cows and heifer went through the same experience as beef steers, they, too, selling lower than yesterday morning, but not so much dtrferent rrom yesieraaj s extremely low cloning prices. There were very few good feeder, and tho feeling on that class of cattle was not so much different owing to the fact Hint there have been very lew nere tins week. On the other hand, light stoi rattle were extremelv hard to move, one being on the lookout for that class of stock.
