BCHOONOVEIV STRONG AT SAT la the Tim Mr Mil with the WIlUw Wkta Hit la , Weeded Krrera Cat Calderle KlT"re la the Score. It took fifteen Innings to tenia tha second game of tha aerie between the Rourkes and tha Kawa Friday. Two sin-les and a double In that Innlnf brought Omaha the winning run after the game had been tlod up at two' different stages. The final score waa I to 4, with the Rourkes on top. Omaha had the game neatly tucked away when the Kaws came to bat In the ninth Inning. Aftr Crompton had struck eut and Krebs walked, Beecher was sent In to bat for Frambes. He landed on a single to left Cooke waa sent in to bat for Fugate and duplicated Beecher's stunt and two runs came In and tied the soore. - Robinson started the game for Omaha and pitched classy ball for eleven Innings, but at the end of that time was Jerked and Hall aent to the mound. He worked but three Innings, when Lots was sent to the rescue. Ford Topeka Fugate did the twirl ing for eight innings and was retired at the 1 end of the eighth In favor of Cooke, who finished the gams. , It was a fast game and filled with sensational stuff. In the fourteenth In ning Topeka managed to get a run across the pan, which looked like a mountain to the Omaha fans. However, Nlehoff landed on first In the Rourke's half of the four teenth on an error by Hafford and scored all the way from first on an error by Whitney, who let the ball through him on a throw to catch tha Rourke second base man. Again In the fifteenth Topeka slipped another across and the outlook for the Rourkes to come back with a duplioate of the fourteenth was poor. Pick went to bat for Schlpke and alt safely to left for one base. Kane sacrificed him to second and William sent a double to' left and Pick acored. A hit to center by Sohoenover ended the game. , . " .- ',' Faas Mast ICathaatststle. That the game wa Interesting, - to say the least, waa evidenced br-the fans, who almost went wild In their efforts to urge the Rourke to heroic deeds. And to make It all the more noisy It happened to be ladle- day, which speaks for Itself. Topeka put up a much better game than on- Thurs day and the fan were with them on every good play. 8ohoonover arid King were the main at traction towards the last of the game. Bach man mode four hlta and when Bchooney came to bat In the fifteenth, with a man on seoond, the applause was such that It could have been heard for miles. The stamping of feet and hammering of umbrellas seemed for awhile as If they would bring the big grandstand down. But Bchooney mad good and brought In the winning run. After two men had died In the first In ning Williams singled to right and took third when Crompton let the ball go through his hands.. An Infield hit by Pchoonover brought In the first run. In the fourth the Rourkes got the second run. Bchoonover singled to right. King beat out .. a bunt. Bchooney waa caught napping at rcoond. King toil second on an error of Frambes and acored when Tomaaon threw the ball wild to the Infield. Tied In the Math. In the ninth Topeka tied up. Crompton truck out and Kreps walked.' Beecher hit safely to left and Krepps went to sec ond. A passed ball by Arbogoat gave each man a base. Cooke singled vto right and Kreps and Beecher brought In two runs, tying the score. Hafford got to first on Nlehoff error in the fourteenth, went to second on a wild pitch and acored on Tomason's hit to center. The Rourkes came back and tied up. Nle hoff got to second on Hafford' error and cored on Whitney' error. In the fifteenth Crompton singled to left, went to second when Kreps waa walked and acored on Hawkins' hit to right. For Omaha Pick singled to left, waa sacrificed to aecond by Kane and scored on Williams' double to left. Schoonover followed with one to center and William brought in the winning run. Score: OMAHA.
