Penator Dillingham today Introduced In the senate a resolution authorising ths special committee of eight members of the regular elections committee to reinvesti gate the charges against Senator Ixjrimer' of Illinois. Penator Culberson objected to the Im mediate consideration of the resolution and It went over. Mr. Culberson said the docu ment differed somewhat from the original resolution and he desired time to con sider It. The resolution names Penator Dilling ham. Gamble. Jones, Kenyon; Johnson, Fletcher. Kern and Lea. They are directed "forthwith to Investigate whether in the election of William Lorimer ss a senator of the United States from the state of Illinois, there were used and employed cor ruptive methods and practices and whether he Is now entitled to retain his seat."
