NEW YORK, June 3.-The 1911 didder,
tour, which was to have started at Wash
ington on June 21, was today postponed
by the contest board of the Automobile
Association of America to an Indefinite
data in the early fall.
Ths postponement was made on tho re
quest of numerous automobile manufactur
ers, particularly those In ths west, who
reported that they had already sold their
output of the 1911 models. The rules of tho
GUdden tour rekulre each entry to bo a car
of which there are at least twenty-five
similar ones In stock and the manufactur
ers said they would not be able tn nuk. 1
