YounT Cox enlisted In the navy at Houx City In February, 1007, and was attache! to the Tennessee as a first class gun pointer. He went with the fleet around Cape Hor.t and was then transferred to the rhlp Philadelphia, located at the Brcmert n navy yards. He had completed h s term of service May, 1910. and had but recently re-enllsted when the accident befell him. Morris died at his home In Table Rock last evening after being con fined to the house for ten days with a severe throat trouble. He was 76 years of age. Mr. Morris was born at Canton, 111., January 17, 1836, and came to Falls City. Neb., In 1808. March 1. 1860, he was united In marriage, to Miss Fannie C. Glddlngs, eldest daughter of Elder C. W. Olddlngs, one of the early pioneers of Nemaha valley. On March 1, 1S10, a little over a year since, Mr. and Mrs. Norrls celebrated their golden wedding In Table Rock, where they were married.
