The tone of the market, as n whole, however, was one of quiet strength. Sheen Herders' Wag-eta Reduced. ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo., March 14, (Spe cial.) Because the Sweetwater Wool Grow ers' association reduced the wages of shsep herders $10 per month the Sweetwater Trades Labor council pansed resolutions condemning the sheepmen. The herders were receiving as high as 860 per month and board, but owing to low prices for mutton and wool and the ever-Increasing cost of feed, land, sheep wagons and sup plies the owners were compelled to econo mize.
