Charles If. Huxold, St., died yesterday
morning at his residence, Fourty-fourth
snd Orover streets, after a very brief Ill
ness of pneumonia. His widow and six
children. Mrs. George Swoboda, Mrs. John
Htuben, Charles If. Huxold, jr.. of Omaha,
Mrs August I-ange of Chicago, John t
Huxold of Pullman, 111., and William H,
Huxold of Papllllon. Neb., survive him.
He was born In Germany August 3,
came to America In lSi3 and first settled
In Indiana, where he married Katherlns
Wille In 1861 and a few yeare later came
to Omaha, tin January 26, hardly tw,
weeks sgo, Mr. Huxold and his wife cel
ebrated their fiftieth anniversary-st their
resiilrurt which was attended by most of
their child. -en and grandchildren, besides
their many friends.
