Compared with last night, corn fin ished 1-1m: up to vc off; oats unchanged to Vic down, and provisions a shade easier to luc added cost. The temporal gain In wheat grew largely 110m assertions that the govern ment had overestimated the spring crop of the three norm western states. A well known expert figured the yield for the district at i;. 000,0o bushels against 177.000,- bushels as sent out officially from Washington, ticnerous shipments bv Aua tralia, India and the Argentine gave tho market an easy start, but leading longs bought openly, and forced prices to a point at which many commission houses had selling orders. Proesstonal specula tors, who had observed thla situation Stabbed profits and overloaded the mar et. Simultaneously word came that world shipments would probably reach U.OOO.OuO bushels, whereaa the total a year ago wa S.720,000 bushels. The close was easv, at almost the bottom for the day.
