The Pre-eminent Position of Baker Electrics has again been demonstrated
On August 30th. 1910. a BAKES- ELECTRIC! shaft driven Victoria, equipped with forty cells of A-6 Edison battery, was driven
201.6 miles at an average speed of 12 miles per tour through such streets and roads in and about Cleveland as would be met in the
ordinary daily use of a Oar.
The entire run was made under the personal observation of Chas. O. Steinhauer, automobile editor of the Cleveland Leader.
, The yigvion record of 160.8 miles was made July 29th, 1907, by a Baker Eleotrio equipped with a standard lead plate battery.
This performance has never been equaled by any other car.
1 mechanical and electrical PERFECTION and the ABSENCE OF FRICTION in a BAKER ELECTRIC, combined with an
EDISOxx BATTERY, is responsible for this phenomenal and unequaled performance, and again our claim is substantiated that with
corresponding equipment, a BAKER will make MORE MILES at a GREATER speed than any other Electric car in the world.
No other car can approach this record, for no other Oar can be operated with so little current consumption at a given speed and
so great efficiency. This performance also demonstrates the superiority of the BEVEL OEAR SHAFT DRIVE over any other type of
transmission.
