Colonel Roosevelt' address In Kansas
yesterday In It militant attitude against
th "special Interests" was a subject of

with a year, ago there has been an Increase

th trade should hav appeared rather slow

SHEIDP-When the market closed last
night, practically everything In the way of
sheep and lambs In the big barn had
changed hands, excepting only a few
scattering loads that could not be got at
In time to be sold. The late market showed
A little weakness on feeder Iambs and In
spots feeder sheep showed some weakness.
Ihere wa no general decline In the mar
ket, but In order to clean up, eller were
forced here and there to make concessions,
especially on kind that wer not particu
larly popular with buyer.
A recount of yesterday run placed the
official figure at 30,376 head, bringing the
total for ths three day up to 88,128 as
against 90,841 for the uiie day last week..
Considering the sixe of th rum, tha trade
ha been lu splendid condition all th
week with comparatively no change In
trices aside from ths little weakness shown
ate yesterday.
This morning, with an additional 11,160
head reported In th demand, was even
more brisk than yesterday and buyer
?eemed to feel that If they were going to
111 Orders this week, they would hav to
get busy In A hurry. The result wa an
active market with practically everything
selling early In the morning and with
prices showing a little more strength than
lute yesterday. In other words the market
was about where It was yesterday morn
ing and steady with a week ago. This
was trus of all kinds of killers as well as
feeders and sheep as well as lambs.
