Report of export sales from Chicago although moderate in volume, oontrolled the wheat pit today and were the basis for bullish market throughout the session. At the start prices advanced sharply and on the upturn shorts began buying. The export sales gave promise of larger ship ments and traders listened willingly to re ports that the continental and English mar kets would need much wheat later to im prove the grade of the home crop. North west receipts -were literal and arrivals for the week at all grain centers while smaller than last week totalled much more than those of the corresponding week last year. Estimates or enormous world s shipments and a notable Increase in the visible supply for next week, were bearish statistics which were Ignored.
