The second game of the Topeka quar tet was taken by the Rourkea yesterday by an even more one-aided score than the firirt. The Cooleyltes, although they man aged to scrape up eight hits, were unable to hit when hits would count. The locals, on the other hand, managed ia hit when ever there were men enouh on bsses t nak It worth while. In spite of the act that aeven errors wert marked up, both teams played a good game. Three of the seven went to Mor larty, who has been shifted to an unfamil iar position at short. Topeka's three runs were all mads In the third Inning, as were also three hits . With two out. Beckley singled and went to third on RelHy's two-sacker. Riley walked, fill ing the baaes. Welch stepped up and with a mighty drive sent a three-bagger down toward right field Just Inside the line, bringing the runners home. He died on third on Jackson's out. Omaha cinched things In the first two innings. Kavle. the first batter up in the first inning, let drive at the first ball pitched for a double. He went to third on Rlggert's single and came home on Mor larty's out, while Rlggert went to second. Rlggert came home on Sehlpke's single- Fire Roas ta Second. In the second the total was five. Gra ham walked and came home on Oondlng's two-bagger. Gondlng scored on a single by Davis, who .went to third on Fugate's wild pitch. Rdggert went Ho first on Welch's error. FREMONT The Fremont Commercial club has decided to have three automobile excursions to neighboring towns Instead of one, as at first proposed.
