There's magic in the word "clearing" as employed at Bennett's. It's music to the
ears of prudent, thrifty people. Tomorrow we apply it to men's clothing. All this
week we have rummaged through our suit stocks. Every odd suit, every broken
lot, all the odds and ends of the year's best selling numbers, have been thrown out
and laid to one side for a day's "clearing." We want to make it a real clearing
and a quick one, so we have put a price on them that will send them out in quick"
step time. There are simply no more fashionable clothes
made for men. All the late summer fabrics are repre
