Woodmen
A Fraternal Insurance Order
Furnishing Protection That Protects
A Remarkable Record
Mrs. Emma Manchester took charge of the Woodmen Circle 11 years ago the
17th day of last March. At that time the order had a membership of only 5,000.
It's indebtedness amounted to $38,500.00. Today the membership is 85,000 and in
stead of an indebtedness there is a surplus, to take its place, reaching the enormous
amount of $1,600,000.00. V
The almost phenomenal growth of the Woodmen Circle speaks volumes for
the merits of its insurance, and is a monumental indorsement of the management.
The following table represents the present standing of the order.
Number of Groves . . . . . . . . 2,503 Losses paid . ..... $2,000,000.00
Number of monuments erected . . 1,901 Emergency and surplus $1,600,000.00
Number of members 85,000 Insurance in force . . $78,250,000.00
Absblute fair-dealing, prompt payment, of all legitimate claims, careful selec
tion of risks, and a high standard of membership are the primary elements govern
ing the Woodmen Circle management.
Only the Best" can get into the Woodmen Circle.
It is not enough that an order is big, prosperous, sound. Has it qualities and
methods and laws which insure the continuance of these things? That's the question
every good business man or woman asks when considering protection.
The business management of the Woodmen Circle follows the same conserva
tive, careful, foresighted and sound policy as that pursued in any big, strong and
legitimate institution.
You are invited to join and enjoy the splendid advantages offered to its members.
