TWO ATHLETIC EVENTS OFF Rain Caoara Postponement of Miller Park Opening and Trl-Clty , Track Meet. The opening of the Miller Park Golf club waa postponed Saturday on account of the wet weather. It is probable that the open ing will be held next Saturday If the weather permit. The Trl-Clty track meet, which waa to have been held at the Omaha Driving park Saturday afternoon, waa postponed until Monday afternoon at 8 o clock on account of the rain. Towell of the juniors won the 100 and 440-yard sprint, the broad lump and the shot put, Rodstrom the high Jump and the 220-yard sprint, . Stegall, a sophomore, tha 880-yard . run, Pltser, a Junior, the pole vault. The relay race was won by the seniors. The sophomore were third In the meet, with eight points, while the freshmen finished last with six points. The large silver loving cup, proffered by tha class of '00 to the class winning the most point in both boy and girls athletics during the entire school year Is to remain In possession of the nenlors the coming year. Total points won by the seniors was 136, by the Junior 116, by the sopho mores 67 and by the freshmen KAi.
