were very poor in quality, and for that
reason the market waa low and the feel
ing weak. At the ratne time there w
om inquiry for desirable grade and they
would undoubtedly have sold at fully
steady prlcea. There wa one lot of heif
ers good enough to bring 87.10.
There wtie no etocker or feeder of any
consequence, and the market on that kind
of csttle was without any noteworthy
change.

cial Bulletin will say of the wool market
tomorrow: Manufacturer will not buy
wool In quantity, owing to the unsatisfac
tory condition of the goods market, al
though a number ot buyers ar around the
market dally. Interest in supplies is keen,
but buying t conservative in the aggre
gate. One mill, however, la credited with
the purchase of 400,0)0 lbs. of Oregon staple
at about 43c, scoured, a price that Is near
the top for that wool now. Fine to fine

United States. It was ten degrees higher
than at Jacksonville. Fla., and several d

ture recorded in this locality for April for
thirty-eight years. High temperature were
reported at many other points out In th

The highest recorded tempertur In
Omaha for April prior to Thursday wa on
