HOUSTON. Tex., Jan. 30.-The ninth an
nual Sunny South handicap has gone Into
history. While the same sixteen squads
that entered Monday did not shoot through
the program there was an average of
seventy-five men facing the traps every
day of the week and the scores all around
were of a high order.
The program for the last day consisted
of 200 targets and in the professional class
Fred Gilbert and Fred Bills tied for high
average on 194. C. J. Hensler was second
with 191 and Ed Forsgard third with 188.
In ths amateur class Lewis and Captain
Jack Wolf were first with 192, Livingston
second with UK) and Ditto third with 188.
In the general averages for ths week
Fred Gilbert of Spirit Lake. Ia.; was first
among the professionals with 1,113 out of
tho 1,100 targets thrown.
