At a meeting of the Maine company in
August, 1J08 Koblnson, Kldredge and
Smith, then directors of the Maine com
pany, resigned us directors of the company
und were not re-elected.

behalf of the Maine company, acted as
manager of tho property on the direction
of the Maine company. He was relieved
of that duty by the Maine company on
Jaruury 23, but refused to give posses
sion, claiming that he was in possesion ot
the property, as president of the Nebraska
company. Ha denied that the Maine com
pany had any right to the possession of
the property or any of ,lta goods or
chattels.
It now appears that the Nebraska com
pany had Issued a call for the meeting of
Ha directors to be held in Omaha at the
Paxton hotel at 10 a. m. Tuesday.
1. M. Vlnsonhaler appears for the Maine
company, which lays claim to the same
property, and, In the petition alleges that
the Interests of the Maine company will
be Jeopardized by such meeting and asks
that the Nebraska company shall not be
permitted to hold meetings for the trans
action of business until the case can be
heard upon its merits.
