was cut up and each one took a slice and
began eating It. It was very fine cake,
I'm told. I don't know for myself, because
although I was ther I was suspicious
about It. Well, after th folks had eaten
about half way through their portlona of
cake, one of th cops, after sidling over
close to th door, gut the attention of all
those who wer In the room and then be
told them where th cak came from.
"You never heard such a wild howl aa
